"IT
WAS BEAUTY KILLED THE BEAST!"
THE MIDTOWN SOUTH MOVIE HISTORY WALK:
And now
for
something completely different! Here comes the biggest and baddest New
York Curmudgeon of them all!
His animated majesty, King Kong, the Eighth Wonder of the World! A
stroll with your fearless tour guide
past some of the most famous non-existent movie locations in the world.
The well-known and not so well-known hunks of concrete and steel in New
York's Skyscraper
District. Where
sailors, monkeys, ghosts, and guys with capes all made cinema history.
Just how did they do that? Feed the lions at
the Public
Library. Cross
the street in the middle of the block! Let's start at the United Nations,
and we'll wind up at the Empire
State.
This
tour, and all other movie history tours, is by special arrangement
only.
If you would like to write to
us to complain or make a bathroom
reservation or to inquire whether New York is a decent place to visit,
or for
any other reason, here is our address: 400 West 43rd Street,
#27M,
New York, NY, 10036. We're just down the street from Times Square and
the
Disney Store, so I can even come and meet you to give you a personal
tour of
the area souvenir shops. Check it out! By the way, these web pages are
